Coaching vs Art Therapy:
Which is Right for Me?
-
Coaching
HOME-BASED OPTION. Coaching can be done virtually, if preferred. This offers you the convenience, safety and anonymity to dive into those hard topics you may not feel comfortable doing otherwise. This also means you can live anywhere in the world and yet we could still work together.
IN-PERSON OPTION. Working in-person gives you the opportunity to really dive into the artwork and express yourself creatively. It can also give clients a greater sense of stability and security.
GOAL ORIENTED. Want to focus on reaching your goals and less so on traditional therapy topics? Then coaching is likely what you need. Coaching is a commitment to yourself and your goals. Coaching sessions run anywhere from 1-2 hours long. Clients can purchase packages if desired.

Art Therapy
IN-PERSON. Although art therapy can be done virtually, it is most beneficial in-person. In office, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into a multitude of art materials, allowing us to move with the flow of the session and utilize what works best. In addition, this is the only option for children and adolescents.
ONE-AT-A-TIME. Sessions are conducted in the typical 50-minute format and payment for each session is due at time of session.
DEEP DIVE INTO ART. Clients have the opportunity to work on large, intricate, long-term projects. Clients will also have the opportunity to try new art mediums never experienced before, like felting, clay, weaving, or mixed media.
